A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck parts of Pakistan on Wednesday morning, causing tremors to be felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The epicenter of the quake was located in southeastern Afghanistan, according to Pakistan’s National Seismic Monitoring Centre.
The United States Geological Survey reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 67.8 km and hit at 8:17 am UAE time (9:17 am in Pakistan).
