After a series of intense roles in projects like “The Undoing,” “Nine Perfect Strangers,” “Lioness,” and “Expats,” Nicole Kidman is ready for a lighter turn. She stars in the Netflix romantic comedy “A Family Affair” with Zac Efron and Joey King, portraying King’s mother who starts a romance with King’s movie star boss, played by Efron.
At the Los Angeles premiere, Kidman expressed her excitement for the comedic script, saying, “I thought it was funny and wanted to dive in. After completing ‘Expats,’ which was emotionally draining, I felt it was time to take on a project where I could simply act without the pressures of producing. It was refreshing to just be part of the team and enjoy the process.”
