Keith Urban has expressed concern over his daughter Sunday’s recent foray into the showbiz world, suggesting she isn’t ready for fame. The 16-year-old made her red carpet debut in April at the 2024 American Film Institute Life Achievement Award Gala, which celebrated her mother Nicole Kidman’s illustrious film career, and has since appeared at events like the Balenciaga Haute Couture show at Paris Fashion Week. An insider told Woman’s Day that Keith, 56, prefers Sunday to stay out of the spotlight until she matures further, despite knowing he may seem overprotective.

The source also noted that Sunday, who resembles her mother more each day, is pressuring Nicole, 57, to allow her to attend more events, while Keith remains hesitant. The insider added that Keith feels caught between his daughter’s aspirations and his concerns about Nicole potentially being too permissive. Nicole and Keith, who have been married since 2006, share two daughters, Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 13, and Nicole also has two adopted children, Connor, 29, and Bella, 31, from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise.
