Under the initiative of the Ministry of Information and Culture, efforts are underway to restore Afghanistan’s historical sites through 21 projects. Khubaib Ghufran, the ministry’s spokesperson, revealed that work has commenced on eleven projects, primarily focusing on areas like Kandahar and Herat provinces, which were affected by recent earthquakes. However, funding for the remaining ten projects is yet to be allocated. Ghufran stated that discussions are ongoing for these projects, and restoration will commence once financial resources and essential facilities are secured.
